Among the 4Cs of diamond value, only the cut is directly influenced by artificial, and the cut greatly affects the fire and brilliance of the diamond, and thus the price. For the same moissanite diamond, if the cut grade of moissanite is better, the difference with moissanite with a bad cut grade can be thousands of thousands.

Five levels of moissanite cutting
The cutting is divided into three items: cutting ratio, polishing, and finishing. EACH ITEM HAS FIVE LEVELS, FROM HIGHEST TO LOWEST: EXCELLENT, VERY GOOD, GOOD, FAIR, POOR.
TOP CUT DIAMONDS, CAN SHOW BRILLIANT BRILLIANCE, FOR LIGHT REFLECTION CAN REACH A CLOSER TO PERFECT PROPORTION, THAT IS, CUT PROPORTION, POLISH, FINISH THREE EX (EXCELLENT) CUT, BECAUSE ITS YIELD RATE IS RELATIVELY LOW, SO THE DIAMOND WITH THE RIGHT CUT RATIO IS NATURALLY MORE VALUABLE.
EXCELLENT: Represents the standard that only 3% of first-class high-quality diamonds can achieve. This cut allows the diamond to reflect almost all the light that enters the diamond. It is an elegant and outstanding cut.

VERY GOOD: REPRESENTS ABOUT 15% OF DIAMOND CUTS. The diamond can be made to reflect the same light as a standard grade cut, but at a slightly lower price.
GOOD: Represents approximately 25% of a diamond’s cut. Diamonds reflect most of the light that enters the diamond’s interior. Much cheaper than the VG class.
FAIR: Represents a diamond cut with a roughness of 35%, which is still a high-quality diamond, but a normal cut diamond does not reflect as much light as a G-grade cut.
POOR: This includes all diamonds that do not meet the general cut criteria. The cut of these diamonds is either deep and narrow or shallow and wide, making it easy for light to escape from the edges or bottom, causing the diamond to lose its luster.

Eight hearts and eight arrows is a better moissanite cut?
The perfectly cut round diamond has 8 arrows visible on the front side and 8 shining hearts on the reverse side. Later, after a large amount of data summary, it was found that as long as the cut of ordinary round diamonds fell into a certain range, it could present a standard pattern of 8 hearts and 8 arrows.

As can be seen from the GIA diamond cut ratio and angle grading table, the specific advantages and disadvantages of diamond cut are determined by seven cutting ratios, namely table width ratio, crown height ratio, waist thickness ratio, pavilion depth ratio, bottom tip ratio, full depth ratio, and crown to angle ratio. Only when all seven proportions meet the standard of better cut ratio can the diamond truly shine, and the cut of this diamond is a good cut.
MW Moissanite
MW Moissanite is a perfect choice. It’s more heat resistant than even diamonds, meaning that even if they were in a fire, they would still retain their sparkle and form. And since it has an extremely high level of brilliance and excellent light performance, it has much higher brilliance and fire than a diamond.
The hardness of moissanite is 9.25, it’s almost the same as diamond. Only for the diamond and moissanite, it can pass the diamond test. Each moissanite has its unique waist code, and it is certified by the international famous professional appraisal organization and the global gemstone Research Association (GRA).
